I have him at 10 Slinn Street in the 1881 census - and you're right about the questions, Charles had 5 sons living in the area as well as a few sons-in-law... as far as I know, Francis Sutton was the employer of 2 of Charles' children, in 1871 Frances Cavill was a nursemaid and Robert Cavill was a coachman at Revill Grange, but this a stronger connection.
