    3. hello Valerie, I don't know about graveyards in Rotherham, but as for Brightside I think the most likely place is Burngreave Cemetery, especially as they were nonconformists. As it was a municipal cemetery, it had both consecrated (Anglican) and unconsecrated sections - and it is in Brightside. Alfred Road is close to the River Don and therefore not far from Attercliffe Municipal Cemetery the other side of the river, but I could not find them in the available index for that cemetery. The burial registers for Burngreave, as well as an index, are on film at Sheffield Archives. The name WILLIAMS is surprisingly not too common in Sheffield (unlike Welsh Wales where I have an ancestor called William WILLIAMS!). So this may be Thomas from FreeBMD: GRO Index (from FreeBMD) Deaths March Qtr 1879 Williams Thomas 59 Sheffield 9c 366 I couldn't find the other two Of course, if Sophia is buried in a family plot in Rotherham, Thomas and Sarah might also be buried there, even if they lived in Sheffield.
