hello Mavis, The original registers for St Mary's, Walkley are held at Sheffield Archives - the 19th century ones are on microfiche. The Archives are currently closed for their annual stock-taking. When they re-open in a week's time it should be possible to check those signatures. Original signatures are always the hardest parts of a document to transcribe because you don't have the rest of the document to compare them with when the hand writing is difficult to decipher.
