Hi Folks, My FISHER lineage so far as traced is outlined below. FISHER William b.13 Feb 1813 in Styrrup, Notts, d. 16 may 1890; w. Sarah Mathew b 1812 Maltby, Yorkshire. His son George was c.16 Feb 1851 in Tickhill, Yorkshire; w. Mary Fretwell, b.1850 Misson, Notts George's son, also George b.13 April 1878 in Brinsworth, Yorkshire; w. Margaret Slack Bird b. 18 May 1881, Denton, Lancs. George's son John b.25 May 1903 in Sheffield, Yorkshire; w. Doris Newbould b 17 Aug 1905 Sheffield, Yorkshire. Myself Michael b.1941 in Sheffield ( then off to Canada in 1968 ). Any connections at any point are welcome. There are many FISHER's in Tickhill, not yet connected and some in Styrrup also. It seems that Williams parents could be William FISHER and Ann ROBINSON.
