Hello Last night we went for a walk to Wharncliffe Grags starting at Deepcar we entered the grags at the back of the lowood working mens club we walked upwards and came to a tunnel that went under what looked like an active railway line then we went further on and through another tunnel still climbing upwards we came across a man made small dam which had two sides built of stone and the other two sandstone does any one know What this is for or perhaps what it was for? further on still climbing we came to a track which was signpost Wortley one way the opposite way Wharncliffe Heath after walking towards Wharncliffe Heath we turned of the track and found another mass of water this was much larger that the previous can a anyone tell us what these were used for?
