    3. Hi I am trying to find the death of my paternal great great grandfather Samuel BRADFORD. I think he was born about 1806 and was married to Sarah OXLEY b.c1811 in 1823. He is shown on the 1841 census with his wife and children. His occupation was a scale cutter. However, he does not appear on any of the censuses after 1841 and Sarah is not listed as a widow just married. The family seemed to have lived at 43 Jericho through the 1841 to 1871 censuses. I cannot find Sarah on the 1881 census so I am presuming she died before sometime. I have looked for Samuel's death on my SFHS disks for St Philips and St Georges and also on the free BMDs without success. Could anyone assist or give advice where else I may look I would be most grateful June June Chatterton Sheffield United Kingdom www.junechatterton.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk Looking for members of the following familys BENSON, BRADFORD, CHATTERTON, FIELDSEND, HAWLEY, LEMONS and MITCHELL

    3. Hi June :-) Are you sure about the dates ? He would have been 17 at marriage and she 12 ?? Or did they marry in 1828 ? They and their children are at 43, Jericho in 1851. In 1861 he is lodging with a HAGUE family in Sheffield Park. I can't see either of them in 1871. Where did you find them ?
