"The Geograph British Isles project aims to collect geographically representative photographs and information for every square kilometre of the UK and the Republic of Ireland" It's surprising what turns up on this site. Use your imagination and the advanced search. E.g. A search for Bolsterstone turns up 2 photos and a search for Bradfield none But using a search of Bolsterstone and everything within 10 km I find 777 photos :-) Including churches, shops, panoramas and single farm houses that I "know" from the BMDs and census. The only drawback is that's it's very slow.
