Roger, I am very active in two cemetery web sites that you might want to check out - the first one is www.findagrave.com, where there are millions of interments posted. You can search for your target cemetery and see if anyone has posted the burial. If not, you can make a photo request for someone to fill. Also, Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness, at www.raogk.com, is another site where volunteers sign up to take cemetery photos, look up obituaries, etc. I have even contacted somone in the UK who photographed some graves in Plymouth. Lastly, in regard to Rootsweb, virtually every American county has a mailing list, so of you go to Rootsweb's main page you can go to all the sites for Maine and see what might help out. Additionally, since Maine is a very 'old' state, you could contact the county historical society to see if there is information you can glean as well. Jane M. Howard Pets are NOT disposable!
