For some time I have been seeking information regarding my grandfather but with no success. I have found a marriage in Middlesex (London) in 1882 which could be the one I am seeking. The name of the groom is James COCHRANE not COCKLIN. The hand written H in COCHRANE could, of course, be a K The 1881 census has a prisoner in H. M. Prison, Wandsworth named as James COCKRANE .
