Hi I am new to the list and I am researching my great uncle Thomas Hatton Coupland and family. Tom was born in Cartmel, Lancashire in 1882 to John and Eleanor (Leak) Coupland. The 1901 census shoiws him living in Shefield and is a grocer's carter. In October 1901 he married a Lucy Eveline Greaves in the parish church of Darnell, Sheffield. Lucy's father is listed on the marriage certificate as Harry Greaves (deceased) occ. Carter. A daughter Lucy was born in 1911 in Atherstone, Warwick and died in 1914 in Sheffield. Daughter Evelyn was born in 1914 in Sheffield. An entry on the LDS site submitted by a member of the LDS church shows Evelyn married a Thomas Herbert Dyson (parents Thomas Herbert Dyson and Grace Beech) on 25 Dec 1935 in Attercliffe. Evelyn passed away 15 Dec 1965 in Bakewell, Derby. Submitter did not leave name or address. If any one is connected or has information on this family would really appreciate hearing from you.
