All, a Greatorex contact of mine recently "rediscovered" a Greatorex baptism at St Johns Church, Park (?). Not being familiar with Sheffield I do not know if that is the correct description or where indeed the Church is. Anyway, he was given the info from a contact who knew of his interest in Greatorex families. Unfortunately he can't remember where the reference came from, hardcopy book, fiche or internet even. Does anybody know where the BMD records for this Church are kept or are available? Mike Greatorex Harrogate, England. Looking for Greatorex's in North Notts, Sheffield, Orange Co, NY, USA, Alabama and now Florida. http://www.freewebs.com/greatorexfamily/
Hi Mike, St John's Park is on Bernard St (down Commercial St, across the island marking the start of the Parkway). Records are in Sheffield Archives.
