Angela, Thanks so much for your answer regarding my problem. I do know that all except one were born in Sheffield and all the records that I have state that Joshua was born in Sheffield. His father was a brushmaker in Sheffield. I went straight to the site you posted and tried searching that way. I found all the Mahony siblings again (LOL), but no Joshua. Boo hoo!! I think I'm giving up on his birth certificate. Oh well, the information provided on his birth certificate would be the same as the other children anyway...no new insight.
