Hello Sue I did a lot of research on the Sheffield Blitz as my great aunt and her 2 granddaughters who had been evacuated from Gosport died in Devonshire St. in Dec 1940. There is a civilian roll of honour which lists the civilian war dead in the Sheffield Local Studies library in Surrey St if anyone can get to see that for you. I do not live in Sheffield and am not sure when I will next go there. There is a communal grave at the cemetery on City Rd and they may have a list. Not all the names are recorded on the stones and some have been stolen as they were set into the surrounding wall. I have pictures of that grave if you would like to contact me off list.
