Hi - I am looking for info about Thomas Warris from Sheffield. He was born about 1800 (according to the 1841 census) and married Mary Anderson from Filey on 26 Nov 1825 in Scarborough. Pigot's directory lists him as a painter in 1828 in Shales Moor and in 1841 he lived on Eldon St Sheffield West with 4 children. He must have died shortly after 1841 because his wife Mary and their children are in Philadelphia PA and his oldest daughter was married before 1855 and died in St Louis in 1860. If anyone can help out with info about Thomas Warris and his parents etc, I would really appreciate it. Thanks Sue Roose Springfield VA USA
