hello Richard, This shouldn't affect you unless your dates shift - the Local Studies Library in the main library building in *Surrey* Street (different southern county!) will be closed during the week beginning Monday November 9th. During that week they will move to a different part of the same building (still on the first floor). They don't seem to have that information on their webpages yet - I got it from a notice in the library. If you haven't seen those pages they have lots of useful things, including links to info about accommodation. http://www.sheffield.gov.uk/libraries/archives-and-local-studies Also, you should note that Sheffield Archives is always closed on Fridays.
