    3. hello June, My modern A to Z still has 'Passhouses Road' (formerly Pass Houses Lane), which is where Pass Houses used to be. On the 1850's map at http://www.old-maps.co.uk they are at grid reference 435900 389600*. They are still on the1905 Godfrey reprint (Sheffield North sheet). They are in a triangle formed by Abbeyfield Road, Firshill Road and Scott Road. (the last two didn't exist on the earliest map). *If you are not familiar with this site, try this: click on 'maps' in the top menu enter Pitsmoor in the search engine (top left) and click 'go' the results are a drop down menu, with only one hit - click it the 1850's map opens enter the coordinates (centre top) and click 'go' zoom in using the buttons on the left hand side You can look at other years by using the thumbnails at the bottom. Not all the maps are zoomable.
