    3. Hi June, My Street Directory says that Woollen Lane ran from Daniel Hill to 229 Infirmary Rd Sheffield 6. The Alan Godfrey maps should show it in all it's glory. LOL. It's right on the join between two maps. Yorkshire sheet 294.03 covers Neepsend, Owlerton & Lower Walkley Sheet 294.07 covers Sheffield West. I buy direct but I am sure Sheffield Scene & Blackwell's have them in Sheffield. Elaine in Ottawa. ----- Original Message ----- From: "June Chatterton" <junechatterton@blueyonder.co.uk> To: <ENG-SHEFFIELD@rootsweb.com> Sent: December 07, 2009 10:42 AM Subject: [SHEFF] Woollen Lane, Sheffield > Hi list > > Could someone please help - does anyone know where Woollen Lane was in > Sheffield in 1911. 3. hello June, Woollen Lane was in the area which was later the site of the Kelvin Flats, which have now also disappeared. It ran from Infirmary Road, opposite Barrack Lane, winding its way more or less southward to the junction of Cleveland St and Daniel Hill. 3. Hi June, It used to run from Infirmary Road to Daniel Hill. My current street map shows a bit of it still there, but that may be misleading. regards Richard June Chatterton wrote: > Could someone please help - does anyone know where Woollen Lane was in Sheffield in 1911.
