    3. Hi John Many thanks for this info, interesting about the musician part, all the family have been musicians down through the generations. *The four schools forming this union assembled in their respective classrooms, and the children and teachers had an early breakfast, after which they walked in procession, met in the centre of the village, and sang special hymns, under the leadership of **Mr. Benjamin Mount**; and from thence the Zion Independent School, with 100 scholars and 18 teachers, and the Wesleyan Reform school, with 70 children and 12 teachers, went to the Wesleyan Reform Chapel, where the service was conducted by Mr. W. Maw, of Sheffield. The Brightholmlee Wesleyan school with 120 children and 14 teachers, and the Oughtibridge Wesleyan School, attended the Wesleyan Chapel. During the afternoon, the children and teachers, together with the class of 52 young men of Wesleyan Reform School, assembled in the schoolroom and had tea. Mr. Cooper?s band and friends from Watery street Reform Chapel also joined them, and the gathering was a very enjoyable one.*
