Hi, I remember seeing that the Archives are closed for refurbishment but that a limited service is available in the local studies library. Does anybody know whether this includes access to the sort of record that might include details of who owned properties in the Penistone road area at the beginning of the nineteenth century? The list seems very inactive these days in stark contrast to the Derbyshire list that I also subscribe to so I am taking the opportunity to restate my Sheffield interests and to wish everybody a very happy 2011.
