We (S&DFHS) are just compiling an index for the archives of Wadsley Asylum, but we can only go as far as 1910. Does anyone in Sheffield know where the staff (nurses) graduation pictures went that were in the corridors of Lodge Moor Hospital in 1965 - 1967 or any of the names of the younger nurses? There used to be one called Janet (she was the staff nurse)who looked after the 2 guys in one of the wards.One was in a iron lung and the other taught math.His name was Brian.
