I am sending this again as I did not see it come on the list yesterday Hello JK, I am looking for any clues that will link them to Rotherham where they are from. The bride, Mary KENT, if mine, was born 1817, so just on 20yrs. I'm keeping my fingers crossed becaus this is the first sighting of John SORSBY since his first wife died in 1836. There is no sign of John in the 1841 census (nor any other census) Mary is there with 3 children , the eldest born 1838, which would fit with the marriage.
