Hello List, I wonder if anyone has access to the Parish church marriages in Sheffield for 1837.? In browsing through the Sheffield Independent (on line) I have found John SORSBY marrying Mary KENT at the Parish Church on April 19th 1837. I need to know the fathers names to see if I have the right John SORSBY, and because it's before civil registration I cannot send for the certificate. I have been searching for John SORSBY for some time now. He disappears by 1841 and no death has yet come up. Regards, Jean in Saddleworth
