Gooday All, I have previously sent a couple of mails re George Jeffery born 1880 in Sheffield and have found out more info which may help turn up some more family members. George was born to Charles Jeffery (from Woodditton Cam) and Elizabeth Shepherd (born Blast Lane) in 1880. They had 13 children and in 1925 lived at Tinsley in the Munition Huts. Some of their children were Charles henry Jeffery who married a Fanny Cotton in Rotherham in 1927 and their offspring were Kenneth Jeffery born 1927, Kathleen Jeffery born 1929 and Pauline B Jeffery born 1931 Harold Jeffery who married Catherine Gorman in 1928 and their offspring were Thelma Jeffery born 1928 William Jeffery who married Ellen Picton in 1930/1 and offspring were William E Jeffery born 1931 and Pearl O Jeffery born 1933 Hilda Jeffery who married Arthur HUTTON in 1934 in Rotherham and offspring were Margaret Hutton born 1934, Frances Hutton born 1936 and Charles E hutton born 1941 Doris Jeffery who married Walter Scott in 1929 but I have no details of any issue at this time. Margery Jeffery who married George Newton in 1935 again no details of any issue. Also I am still trying to find out more about a Nellie Jeffery who became The Yorkshire Nightingale and had a stage name of Nellie Blye and at some point married a Connolly as I have a picture of her NHS card with Mrs Connolly on it and it was dates 1946. This information I got from the historical house in Charleville western Queensland (where my daughter and family lives).
