I've not been very active during the summer - too much to do outside! As the family history season comes round here are my interests and current projects; Names ; LEE, GUITE, GYTE GUYTE, SENIOR, HAIG SPEIRS CLAY BOWER Places; Birley Carr, Middlewood Forge Organisations: Dilys GUITE Players and Lantern Theatre, Philadelphia Works, Nichols & Co. in Shalesmoor. I have traced my LEE and GUITE ancestors back to the beginning of the 19th century in Sheffield, the CLAYS to Cromford , Derbyshire and the Speirs to Glasgow. Now I am trying to fill in details about their lives.
