Hi, I've just started looking for some information on the SWANN family of Dykes Hall for a friend. I understand that Elizabeth SWANN who married John Fowler of Wadsley Hall in 1815, was a daughter of William Swann of Dykes Hall. She appears to have been christened at Sheffield parish church in 1792. There is quite a lot of info on John Fowler on the net, but not on his wife or her family. At least, not that I've found so far. If anyone can give me any pointers, I'd be most grateful. regards Richard Tetley
