Many thanks to all who contributed to my quest for information regarding the origins of Kate Green. It would appear that after 1861 she is consistently born in Sheffield and in 1855. The only source out of step would appear to be the 1861 census which puts her date of birth at 1850 in Ireland, all other sources suggesting 1855 in Sheffield. .If that is an error then the migration would be sometime between 1851 and 1855 since the family do not appear on the 1851 census.
