Hi All As has been the norm lately just thought I would throw a few names into the ring to see if they hit any bells. I will wait with baited breath. Surnames:- Jeffery descendants of Charles Jeffery born WoodDitton Cambs in 1856, and also Shepherd, Cawthorne, Woodliff, Young, Holgate, Bertram, Simpson and Crawshaw to name a few. Still chasing the descendants of one George Jeffery born 1880 and Jane Lillian Jeffery his wife and their 13 children. in the 1920s they lived at 40 third Avenue, Munition huts, Tinsley. One of their children Charles Henry Jeffery was with them at this time. Also the spelling of the surname seems to go from Jeffery to Jeffrey depending on the scribe of the day.
