Hi Carol It looks as though your grandparents home was demolished to make way for a new bulding as it doesn't come up in the present day 'PostCode Finder' but if you add the address into Google 'Maps' and open up the satellite view, it will show that it is a very long Street. Sorry cannot be more of an help, my wife was born in Swinton Mexborough, South Yorkshire and her mothers family lived there for years and my mother-in-law was born in 1904 her maiden name was Elliott.
