    3. Back on the trail of my GREEN family. I'm fairly sure now that they were in Sheffield at the time of the 1851 census. However they do not appear to be on the Sheffield Indexers site. The best information that I have is as follows :- Thomas GREEN b. ~1817 Ireland Catherine ( Catrien ) GREEN b. 1822 Ireland Mary Green b. 1844 Ireland Catherine (Catrien ) Green b.1850 Sheffield In 1861 they were living in Hollis Croft. Can anyone locate them for me on the 1851 census please ? Cheers Frank No virus found in this outgoing message. 3. Hi Frank, May I suggest you have a look at the Parish Registers that have been transcribed on the "Sheffield Indexers" http://www.sheffieldindexers.com/ There is a daughter baptised at St Lukes Hollis Croft in 1859 and a son in 1856. We only have the 1841 census indexed. Kindest Regards. 3. Hi Frank, On the 1861 Cretrien (sic) is stated born Ireland, like sister Mary, although son Thomas b 1857 is born Sheffield. I find no trace of the family on the 1851. Sorry about that. 1861 images sent off list. HTH John Green On 18/02/2010 19:46, Frank Turner wrote: > Back on the trail of my GREEN family.
