Hello Thomas Here is the information I promised you yesterday. William Wright ROBINSON was chris at Leeds St Peter in 1787. His parents were Edward ROBINSON and Anna WRIGHT who married at St Peter's Leeds 23 April 1783. The only other children I can find are Edward b Feb 29th 1792,John b April 13 1794,and Ann b August 29th 1802. ----------------------------- William Wright ROBINSON married Mary Susannah SORSBY on Feb 14th 1819 at Wath on Dearne. William was the miller at Worsborough. Mary Susannah Sorsby was the eldest daughter of William SORSBY and Elizabeth KEDMAN and chris at Wentworth February 27th 1799. The other siblings were John b 1796, Ann b 1801, Elizabeth 1802, Louisa b 1805 (my 3gtgrandmother) Martha 1808, and Sarah b 1810 A whole lot of new cousins here for you! --------------------------------------------------- William Wright ROBINSON moved to Bolton on Dearne as Miller where 3 of his children were born (I gave you those yesterday) On Dec 10th 1828 his wife Mary Susannah died and is buried with her parents in Wentworth churchyard. William Wright Robinson died in Doncaster and was buried at St George's on 26th March 1841 aged 51 yrs Buried with him is John Robinson who was buried 16th August 1842 aged 21yrs. I take this to be his son John b 1821. *DO CHECK THOMAS ROBINSONS BIRTH in the Wentworth registers. John Sorsby(above) b 1796 did not appear on the IGI. When I checked the Wentworth register on film there was the son missed by the original transcriber. Cheers Jean
