Hello list, i`m looking for the marriage of sarah ann roebuck to john davies in rotherham.their son john was born 1858.but cannot find any trace of their marriage,i know its possible they were not married but on the birth certificate of their son it is given sarah ann davies knee roebuck.now on the 1871 census she is on as married to Samuel Athey in Kimberworth Rotherham,cannot find death of John davies so not sure if they were married,if anyone researching same names and think they might have some information which could further my search i would be most grateful,thank you
