Hello, Harriott EMMERSON married William GILLOTT in 1835 I'm descended from Harriet's sister Amelia EMMERSON who marred George ARCHER in 1832. There is a gravestone in Thorpe Hesley churchyard to the GILLOTTs Briefly Betty dau of William and Harriott GILLOTT died 12 Feb 1880 aged 36 Harriott wife of William GILLOTT died 2 Jan 1888 aged 74 William GILLOTT who died in New Zealand 2 May 1888 aged 48 Edward Emerson GILLOTT died 24 Nov 1890 aged 56 William GILLOTT died 30 June 1900 aged 89 Maria wife of Edward Emerson GILLOTT died 30 Apr 1906 in her 74th year. --------------------- Hope this is of some interest to someone!
