Hello, I seem to remember someone mentioning this name recently on the list. I have details of a gravestone in Thorpe Hesley churchyard. Briefly, John DOBSON of Scholes died aged 57 on 13 Oct 1862. His wife Ann who died 7 March 1869 aged 61. Also Henry, son of John and Ann, who died 26 Sep 1892 aged 54. ------ Hope this is of use to someone. There is a short verse on the stone as well.
