    1. [ROTH] JOHN ROBINSON - 1891 Lookup PLEASE
    2. I would give anything to have an ancestor named Hepzibah or Elimelech ... but no such luck! I realize that there is no index to the 1891 census, but I'm hoping that someone with the CDs and a bit of time on their hands might be able to help me out with a huge brick wall. I'm looking for my great-grandfather's elder brother, whose name was JOHN ROBINSON. He is my only link to getting back further in my family tree. At the time of the 1891 census he would have been two and a half years old (b. Oct 23, 1888 in Rotherham Union Workhouse). Hopefully in 1891 he would have been living with his mother ELIZABETH ROBINSON (age unknown, pottery hand) in the Kimberworth area of Rotherham. If there is an older JOHN ROBINSON (age unknown, potter) shown as the father that would be absolutely marvelous as we do have that information showing on a later marriage certificate but haven't been able to confirm it. JOHN ROBINSON (age 2 1/2) could have also been living with a family headed by CHARLES MAYCOCK as he had been adopted into that family by the time of the 1901 census. If anyone is able to find the family of CHARLES MAYCOCK in Kimberworth on the 1891 census (possibly parish of St. Thomas) that info would also be gratefully appreciated.
