Dear Listers, I am about to order the census film for Kimberworth for 1861 and 1871, and am hoping Masbrough is on it. Can any of you kind local folks let me know if I am correct, please? I looked on familysearch.org for details of the census of Kimberworth, but it did not list smaller places included on the film. I am seeking Henry or John Robinson, glassmaker, with wife Harriet, in Masbrough. Masbrough was certainly part of Kimberworth for census purposes as it was part of Kimberworth township. Masbrough is an area that has never had any legally established boundaries. Rougjhly it extends from the west bank of the River Don and extends eastward to approx. Wilton Lane.
