    2. Hi Janet: I don't know if we're linked or not but thought I'd drop you a line. My great-grandfather was Reginald Robinson. He and his brother John were born in Rotherham Union Workhouse between 1888 and 1892. Their mother was Elizabeth Robinson, but we're unsure as to the name of their father. Reginald's marriage certificate stated his father's name as John Robinson but so far we've not been able to confirm that. John Robinson Sr. (if that's who he was) and Elizabeth were involved in the potteries in Kimberworth. We've been unable to track Elizabeth's parentage because we can't find any info regarding her age, marriage, etc. By 1901 Reginald and John had been adopted into the family of Charles Maycock and Elizabeth (nee Jones)of the parish of St. Thomas in Kimberworth.
