My great-grandfather, Henry GREAVES, was born 1835 in Rotherham. The following christenings were Henry and his siblings, children of Benjamin GREAVES and Mary BRAMMER, who were married 2-28-1814 in Rotherham: Ann 1814 William 1818 Benjamin 1819 Jonas 1824 Annis 1827 Henry 1832 Henry 1835 The above information is from the LDS/IGI. Can anyone tell me how to go about locating the marriage record of Benjamin and Mary and eventually obtaining a copy of the certificate? Also according to the IGI, Benjamin Greaves was born about 1789 in Rotherham and Mary Brammer was born about 1793. There are a lot of BRAMMER entries in the IGI, but I find no record of a Mary being born in 1793. Is there another place to look for this information? Also, a Benjamin Greaves, son of Jonas Greaves and Barbara, was christened 3-7-1790. My Benjamin had a son named Jonas. This looks like a likely match.
