Hello Elaine, I am also looking for FRETWELL. A relative, Benjamin SORSBY died in September, 1901, in Kimberworth.In his obituary in the Rotherham Advertiser his sisters, Mrs FRETWELL, Mrs FIELDSEND and Mrs CARR attended the funeral. They are probably widows but I am not sure which of his five sisters belong to each name. The sisters are Ann,b 1817, Sarah, b 1823, Mary, b 1828, Harriet, b 1830 and Louisa b 1832. The first 3 in Rawmarsh and the last two in Rotherham. If you come across any FRETWELL who would fit the above I would love to hear from you!
