Hello from New Zealand I would like to know if there is anyone on the List who lives close enough to be able to check back numbers of the above newspaper for death notices, please? I'm sure that it is the correct paper for all of them. Five siblings of my gt grandfather died in the Northallerton area between the years 1903-1918 and I would like to obtain a copy/transcript of the death notice for each of them. I know that Northallerton Library has film of these papers until 1917 and that Darlington Public Library may have the later years. They were a long lived family, my gt grandfather was 88 when he died. Harriet HAMILTON of Borrowby Grange, died 28 May 1903, aged 79 years. Buried Leake St. Mary. John KILVINGTON of Kirby Sigston, died 26 Aug 1908, aged 72 years. Buried Kirby Sigston. Thomas KILVINGTON late of Landmoth, died 10 Dec 1916, aged 91 years. Buried Leake St. Mary. James KILVINGTON of Kirby Sigston, died 3 March 1918, aged 85 years. Buried Kirby Sigston. Elizabeth Mary CLARK of Brompton, died 9 March 1918, aged 90 years. Buried Brompton. I had hoped to find obituary notices, but drew a blank, for two of them, anyway, so I'm hoping the death notices may supply me with a little more information than I have at present. I can confirm that notices for Thomas & John do appear in the newspaper named. My thanks for your help. It's something I would prefer to do for myself - but - there are a few thousand too many kilometres separating us! Regards Ailsa Petrie -- Hamilton New Zealand
