If anyone has any MURGATROYD or DONAWAY interests in Whitby prior to 1827, I would be interested in hearing from you. Maybe we will discover a connection between our lines. My 3rd great grandfather, Jeremiah MURGATROYD married Mary Ann DONAWAY in Whitby in 1807. I "believe" that Jeremiah was the son of William MURGATROYD.
