Rose Morrison <rosebakmor@bigpond.com.au> posted lists of burials including: > 1919 > Oct 3rd George MEABURN 70yrs Tailor 1 Oxley Villa Thanks for this, Rose - the first name that's jumped out at me! My MEABURNs were tailors in Stainton-in-Cleveland, and this may be one of their children. In all George MEABURN (1805-1885) and Ann PALLISER (1808-1879) had 21 children. Of these only 5 were boys, and of those boys only two lived more than a few months. One was my ancestor Matthew (1833-1877), and the other was a George (born 1848) - and I wonder if he is the one mentioned here. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who knows of this family. I have quite a lot of information (mostly researched by a cousin), and we are always happy to find new connections. Arthur Kennedy akpak@waitrose.com http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~arthurk/
