Hi Karen, Noting your interest in Teasdale as well as Jackson, thought you might be able to fit the following ones into your jig-saw. Again taken from Kirby Moorside baptisms - 9 February 1804 Rebecca (born 9 February 1804) 2nd child and 2nd daughter of John Jackson of Kirbymoorside, (son of William Jackson and Ann nee Robinson of Kirbymoorside). Mother, Mary (daughter of George Toesdale and Rebecca nee Andrew) 12 August 1807 George Teesdale (born 8 August 1807) 4th child and 2nd son of John Jackson of Kirbymoorside, (son of William Jackson and Ann nee Robinson of Kirbymoorside). Mother, Mary (daughter of (blank) and Rebecca Teesdale nee Andrews) The spelling of Teasdale is a bit different, but I've written it as I saw it. Don't know where the 1st and 3rd children are, could have been born/baptised elsewhere or I might have missed them in the register. Yes, the K. Moorside registers in this time period are great, we have a lot to thank the Rev. Wm. Dade for. Pity not all vicars followed his innovative idea. Hope the above helps, Michele ----- Original Message ----- From: "karen" <karen@milkhillcottage.fsnet.co.uk> To: <ENG-NORTH-YORKS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, May 18, 2003 2:49 PM Subject: Re: Re: [N'Yorks] Margaret JACKSON > Many many thanks for this information. It all seems to fit exactly - but I think I need to get a bit more proof first. But I will certainly keep it as a possible. Don't you just love the Kirkbymoorside registers from this time? - they help enormously. > > I have two Jane Teasdales born in this area at the same time - I nearly made the mistake of assuming they were both the same person - until I discovered they were from two (as yet unconnected) families. > > I don't want to make that mistake again. > > Best Wishes > > Karen > > __________________________________________________________________________ > Join Freeserve http://www.freeserve.com/time/ > > Winner of the 2003 Internet Service Providers' Association awards for Best Unmetered ISP and Best Consumer Application. > > > > ==== ENG-NORTH-YORKS Mailing List ==== > Uh-Oh!!! <----- Missed or deleted a post that would put a crack in your > wall?
