Hi, My twopennorth for what it's worth. I am inclined to agree with you Roz about the wedding cards. I remember after our wedding we sent cake and cards to all who had been invited/sent gifts but could not attend. The boxes were about 3" x 2" nicely lined with doyly (now there's a word!) type paper that folded over the cake and the card which gave details of the date, our new address and my maiden name was placed on top. All very proper! Does the custom still exist? Regards, Ruth
