James SHOUT was married to Mary CRAVEN who died in Richmond on Christmas Day 1858. He then appears to have married Sarah CARTER formerly CLAYTON and had several more children, (she is recorded as the mother of children registered from 1863) The problem I face is that I can't find their marriage in PRO (I'm actually using the 1837Online facility & FreeBMD) . To make things more complex she is shown as Sarah Ann SHOUT at the registration of the death of George Clayton SHOUT (age 2) in October 1858.in Bradford I guess the logical answer is that there are two James' - but nothing else indicates this.
