Hello, As I have just subscribed to the list again I thought it would be a good opportunity to post my interests. The families listed below were all resident in the Scarborough area during the 1800's. The Swinney family were Bacon Factors (butchers & grocers) and the McBean family owned a Jet store which was located next to The Grand Hotel in Scarborough.
