Mary (Martin) LYNN is a different case altogether! By 1881 she has "disappeared" although Solomon is reported as "married" (NOT "widowed") in 1881, 1891 and 1901. So, the 1871 census could give a clue to her birthplace, which would be a small piece of the puzzle and a help in searching. Question 1. Is there an available index to the 1871 census for Middlesbrough? Question 2. Is Mary were to have entered a local institution - where might it have been? All information / suggestions welcomed!
