Will do lookups from the following LDS films that I have on 4 week loan. Please be sure to check the IGI at www.familysearch.org to be sure your person is on one of these films because these are the only 4 I have on loan. Please include the IGI index for the person when you request the lookup so I have as much information as possible. I have these on loan for 3 more weeks but I can renew them if need be. 0990922 Bishop's transcripts, 1600-1873 Church of England. I am still searching these reels for my own family and I do obit lookups too, so my time to do these lookups is limited. Unless you catch me on the day I am going to check for my family and I have time to lookup yours, don't expect to get these the next day. It could take me a couple of weeks. Renee (Holmes) O'Neal
Hello Ann, Just to let you know that my SMALES family in Whitby (my maternal grandmother and her ancestors) have an Ann, daughter of Gideon SMALES and Maria Robinson WAKEFIELD who married a Rev Henry John GRAHAM in about 1845. I haven't researched them in detail but from the 1881 census, (when they were living in Pudsey) they had 7 children, Annie Maria, Marie Dyson, Clara L, Julia M, Hewley (? mis-transcribed) Smales, Ethel A and Katherine M. I could only find Hewley in the 1901 census - presumably the girls had married. he was a woollen manufacturer in the West Riding. Any connection to yours?
