Listers This will test the ingenuity/knowledge/inventiveness of all - Does anyone know if there is an English word/expression for the relationship one has with the parents-in-law of one's own son/daughter ??? EVEN thoughts from other languages/cultures/societies would be interesting to know (- as apparently there is a distinct word in Chinese for this relationship!) I doubt that English stretches this far, but my wife and I are about to acquire some of them as an addition to our family (courtesy of my daughter) and this has set me to wondering...!
