Hi Jean, Shildon is in County Durham not North Yorkshire. If no one on this North Yorks list comes up with help try a list which covers County Durham. You may also find help on the County Durham Look Up Exchange which you would find linked to the County Durham pages of the Genuki site at www.genuki.org.uk The Cleveland FHS would also have indexed the 1851 for Shildon their site is at http://website.lineone.net/~pjoiner/cfhs/cfhs.html you might find other useful indexes for Shildon are on there too.
