Hi Michael, I have a William WATSON married at Danby (North Yorkshire) in 1669 to Ann AGAR born 1634 died 1712. They eventually lived at Home Farm in Rosedale East. I am not sure how popular the AGAR name is, but there is an AGAR Arms public house at Warthill just to the East of York. It is named after the AGAR family who lived at Brockfield Hall which is nearby.
